MoonRise

Man, last night the moon looked so cool. It was so bright that it was causing moon rays to come out from behind the clouds - which is what inspired me to photograph it. It kinda looks like a sunset, because of all the colors. I love how blue the sky looks and how warm the clouds and ground are. Also, I LOVE the fact that I was able to incorporate some stars into the image. I shot this outside my condo, around 9pm. This exposure was 3.2 seconds at 640ISO.
Some Where's Waldo Fun! - see if you can find the face hidden in the clouds - i think its freaky!

Very cool! Nancy and I were out last night and it was a beautiful night indeed!

I have been wanting to do a long exposure shot like this for a wedding. Waiting for one to be in a tent like reception facility or something that is open air with diffused light and the right night sky. Fill the top 2/3 of the frame with sky. Would be cool, deep blue night sky, burnt yellow from reception lighting...sweet. Maybe our Sarasota wedding on 10/27. I've got an outdoor night wedding in Jax on the 20th, I'll practice there. Look forward to shooting with you. -Jeff

Great shot, Jen! It is so eerie and beautiful! I so do not see the face though... :(
Remember when we went to honeymoon island for that failed meteor shower attempt? Stupid clouds!
